The secret to its incredible performance lies inside the MANDU HOODED EXPEDITION DOWN JACKET: it's filled with 800-cuin, NIKWAX®-impregnated and certified down. Thanks to the YAK Boxwall construction, heat can circulate inside the jacket, there are no cold spots, and each seam is sewn individually. This elaborate construction makes it very durable and incredibly warm. The unique arrangement of the back panels allows unrestricted freedom of movement. In addition, the down jacket is water and dirt-repellent thanks to the DWR coating. The particularly robust Cordura fabric on the outside protects against damage from sharp objects or abrasion. Two higher-placed, conveniently accessible outer pockets with two internal pockets provide space for essential items, such as a 1.5-liter water bottle. The helmet-compatible, adjustable brimmed hood, an inner collar made of soft fleece and the drop tail, which allows the jacket to be extended at the back for additional warmth, round out the sophisticated details of this expedition jacket.
